Teachers Encouraged to Attend Conference
The conference will be held July 15-18 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
The conference theme is “New Voices, New Visions: Teaching for Tomorrow, Today,” and will provide attendees the opportunity to learn what is working in classrooms and schools, hear from education leaders, improve candidate support and network with peers.
Education technology visionary Tom Welch, an out-of-the-box thinker and an ardent revolutionary when it comes to redesigning the learning process, headlines the list of conference general session speakers. Always on the cutting edge of technology and education integration, the former Kentucky Teacher of the Year will discuss the role technology plays in education and what we can expect in the future.
The four-day event begins with pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, July 15, and includes an opportunity for attendees to attend an Atlanta Braves baseball game, Friday, July 17. The Braves will play host to the New York Mets at Turner Field.
Online registration for the conference is available. For more information about the NBPTS National Conference, please visit http://www.nbpts.org/conference.
